VHS Plugin Introduction

53 retro-style old VHS tape effects and transitions to recreate the look of old videos with their distortions, glitches, and color style.
PX-VHS is the plugin that can make the process of turning your videos into retro-style videos of the 70s, 80s, and 90s as simple as a click.



VHS Plugin Requirements

VHS Plugin works on Adobe After Effects 2021 and above.

VHS Plugin Installation

1. You need to download and install Aescript ZXP Installer 
It will launch the installation phase after you launch the downloaded file.

2. After you've installed the ZXP Installer, download the VHS plugin from here.
 The VHS package contains the "ZXP" file for installation on Windows and Mac.

3. Launch Aescript ZXP Installer and from the file menu, choose open and select the downloaded VHS zxp file.
Wait for the installation procedure to finish ( your operating system may ask for authorizing the adobe extension manager which you need to accept )

4. Restart the Adobe After Effect application and run the VHS plugin by choosing Window >> Extensions >> VHS

5. Login with your Pixflow account or If you don't have an account please select "Create Pixflow account"



You will get redirected automatically to the Pixflow login page where you can choose one of the login scenarios



You see a successful login page and that's when you can close the browser window and continue on the plugin window.



6. Now you can access VHS free items.

Unlock the VHS Locked items

If you installed the free version before, purchase the Premium package from here 

Then you can access the purchase code.

Copy your purchase code from the checkout page.

Open the PX-VHS panel and navigate to your profile setting.

Press the “Go Premium” button and there you can see the “Do you have a purchase code?” option.

Click on it and enter the purchase code to the popup panel.

If you installed the premium version, copy your purchase code from your dashboard (My Downloads) from the Pixflow website.

Open the PX-VHS panel and navigate to your profile setting.

Press the “Go Premium” button and there you can see the “Do you have a purchase code?” option.

Click on it and enter the purchase code to the popup panel.

 If you can’t activate it, please check your proxy.
