Pixflow Plugins - Troubleshooting

This article can help you to use Pixflow plugins when you are seeing the following issues:

1. Blank window.

2. Impossible to open the plugin window.

Windows

First step :

Please deactivate any security system available on your system and then check again to see the plugin works fine or not.

Second step :

follow the below steps:

1, Open the Registry Editor >> Open windows start menu and type regedit.



2. Go to the following path from the left sidebar:
Computer >> HKEY_CURRENT_USER >> Software >> Adobe >> CSXS.9



3. Right-click on the right panel and from the new menu select "String Value" for adding a new string.



4. Call it PlayerDebugMode

5. Right-click on it and select "Modify" to set 1 for the "Value data".






6. Go to the following path from the left sidebar:
Computer >> HKEY_CURRENT_USER >> Software >> Adobe >> CSXS.10
Computer >> HKEY_CURRENT_USER >> Software >> Adobe >> CSXS.11
Computer >> HKEY_CURRENT_USER >> Software >> Adobe >> CSXS.12
Computer >> HKEY_CURRENT_USER >> Software >> Adobe >> CSXS.13
Computer >> HKEY_CURRENT_USER >> Software >> Adobe >> CSXS.14

7. Repeat step 3 to step 5.

8. After all, restart AE

Mac

First step :

Please deactivate any security system available on your system and then check again to see the plugin works fine or not.

Second step :

follow the below steps:

1. Open the Terminal


2. Paste the below lines there:

defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.14 PlayerDebugMode 1

defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.13 PlayerDebugMode 1

defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.12 PlayerDebugMode 1


defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.11 PlayerDebugMode 1


defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.10 PlayerDebugMode 1


defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.9 PlayerDebugMode 1


defaults write com.adobe.CSXS.8 PlayerDebugMode 1


3. Press Enter for each line


4. Restart After Effects
