WordPress - Make menu items links open in new tab

 

In this article, we will explain how we can open menu items link in a new tab.

1. Login to the WordPress dashboard.


2. From the left-hand sidebar of the Dashboard, navigate to Appearance >> Menus



3. Click on “Screen Options” in the top right corner of the browser.


4. Select the “Link Target” option and this option will be available for each menu item.



5. Click on your desired menu item which you want to open in a new window and you will see "Open link in a new window/tab" option is added to options there.



6. Select "Open link in a new window/tab" to open the menu item link in new window.
