Section builder is a cool feature in Massive Builder which provides the option to use pre-made sections. These sections can be default sections that are delivered with the theme or custom sections that you've added to section builder before. In this article, you will learn about using section builder and adding your custom sections.
Opening section builder
First, we should open Massive Builder. One way to do that is to click on "Start now" button in WordPress dashboard.
Then we can open section builder using different methods.
1) If you are using a blank page, you can click on "Pre-made sections" to open the section builder.
2) You can click on the plus button on the bottom left corner of the screen and open the Element panel, then click on "Sections" tab.
3) You can move your mouse over a row and a circle plus button will appear at the bottom of the row. You can click it to open section builder.
When you have opened the section builder, you can drag and drop it to your desired position in the page and edit the content as you wish.
Adding a custom section to section builder
You can add a row to section builder and use it in another page or current page. Before adding the section to section builder, please make sure you don't want to change anything about it. Because when you add a section in section builder, future changes to the source row will not affect the custom section in section builder.
To add a row to section builder, you should move your mouse over the row and click on "Save section" icon.
Then a popup appears on the screen and you can enter a name for this section.
When you click on "Create" button, the custom section will be created and added to the bottom of sections in section builder. Now you can open section builder and use the custom section on any page you like.
